The purple and black roots back up a little from Thomas's fire.

Numa Testamenta, Naomi casts.

A barrier is formed around your group again but you should probably doubt that it would hold.

The roots reassemble into one big cliche root become a kind of drill thing.

“Role”: Salesperson of Magic Items

Class: Weapon and Weapon User

Abilities: Is in contast communication with his sister via telepathy. Wields the great sword 'Potentia' that can also double as a light cannon given the time to charge up a beam. Can transform into the dual pistols 'Sapientiae' and 'Valor' for his sister. Can create shotgun-like blasts from his arms and feet if flying solo however (took him a while to figure out how to do this with out blowing off his shoes).

Equipment / Belongings: Typically stuff you'd find and on a New Yorker. Cell phone, wallet, license to deal in magic, a stick of gum.

Clothing: Typical t-shirt, jacket and jeans. He has access to a closet so he can change depending on the situation.

Backstory (optional but recommended): Despite his Mexican background, Freddy knew surprisingly a lot about world history. He'd suck up new tidbits and trivia facts like a sponge. By middle school, he had begun amassing a collection of various books. Specifically books of the occult, of the arcane, and of the supernatural. It wasn't like his family wasn't aware of a more magical plane of existence, it was pretty obvious to anyone that he shared a "special" connection with his twin sister, but that didn't change the fact that his parents were heavily against this path of study. He persued it anyways, of course, but not without attracting the attention his parents wanted him to avoid. Why does it always have to rain during funerals...

Money / Income (depends on backstory): Runs a book store with his sister. Secretly a magic tome and trinket store. Lives in an apartment above the store.

Abilities: Is in contast communication with her brother via telepathy. Wields the dual pistols 'Valor' and 'Sapientiae' which never run out of ammo, just need to cooled down every once in a while, and make pretty useful arm braces. Can transform into the great sword 'Potentia' for her brother. Can transform her hands into daggers (and her entire arms into blades if needed) if flying solo however.

Equipment / Belongings: Typically stuff you'd find on a New Yorker. Laptop, headphones, license to deal in magic, Metro Card for the subway.

Clothing: Typical t-shirt, jacket and jeans. She has access to a closet so she can change depending on the situation.

Backstory (optional but recommended): Despite her Mexican background, Ana knew surprisingly little about her home and her family, who they supposedly left behind. This disappointed her greatly. What was the point of being born over there of they're gonna move to New York anyways? Her parents were the ones that have to fill out the paper work for citizenship. Her unrest grew bigger when her parents started to to shun both her and twin brother's "natural gifts". What the hell was wrong with them?! First they refuse to visit their cousins (she only gets to talk to them via videocall like twice a year) and now she can't practice magic, even thoughall 4 of them knew there was a secret underground magic society in New York City. Not to mention strict schedules after school, barely getting to hang out with any friends. Like, what we're they afraid was gonna happen to them? Little did they know, she had gotten good at using her brother's gun form. And she welcomed any that thought she was an easy target.

"How about you shut up and help," Naomi yells at Daniel.

Thomas blasts fire at the drill but it proves unaffective as the drill breaks through the barrier and disparts the fire striking at Naomi in the gut impaling her.

She screams in pain before the drill backs off and she falls to the floor unconsious and bloody.

The white shard sends a shockwave trying to disperse the roots and blackness but does nothing.

The roots ignore the shard and reassemble into three major spikes, one for each of you.

What now?
