Warrior Spell Dmg Vs Melee

Hello. I'm a bit new but I've hit 35 and I just realized things like my roar are affected by +poison damage. What else affects my spell damage and does melee damage have a contribution or is it just strength+spell damage? Thanks!

 

Strength increases neutral, earth and poison dmg dealt. Spells are not affected by melee damage(which affects your basic attack including archers shooting arrows), the ids raw spell dmg(e.g. +10 spell dmg) and % spell dmg (e.g. +20% spell dmg) directly increase spell dmg but if your spell does fire dmg (elemental dmg done in spells depends on weapon dmgs and also the spell used) then having +10% fire dmg (an id) will increase the fire dmg done by the spell and thus the dmg done overall.

If your weapon doesn't do a certain elemental damage and/or you have neutral damage converting into spells, iirc bash does earth damage, charge does fire, uppercut does thunder/earth, and warscream does fire/air. None of the warrior spells convert damage into water, meaning the only way warrior can do water damage is with a weapon that does water damage (this is not saying that warrior can't for example do water damage with bash, just that the default damage for bash would be earth if neutral is being converted).

 

Uppercut is just earth.
