The orange stuff doesn't really count as and object, but as terrain

 

I mean the definition of object is "A material thing that can be seen and touched."

 

I think of an object in D&D as something that can be held or worn, or otherwise wielded

 

But shatter can literally brake walls. Why wouldn't it be able to brake crystallized tree resin?
