Each one has diffirent additions to your character.

You can gain buffs, as well as new abbilities.

I don't even know my objectives, so I'll still be playing under the assumption that I won't get one that's non dark for a while.

 

You still haven' complete your objective, so you won't get access to Dream Tree, but if you just want to get to the next day quicker than go ahead.

You can unlock diffirent noches depending on your actions.

If you do only, or mostly "good" things, then you will unlock the Light Path.

If you do only, or mostly "bad" things, then you will unlock the Dark Path.

If you do equall amount of "good" and "bad" things, or do neither, you will unlock Neutral path.

 

So basically, the only path I'll unlock for a while will be the Darkness path.
