Skien's Island Lore??

Does skien's island have any lore or purpose apart from the reincarnation quest? Just wondering

Not related at all except I believe there's an item there that you need for one step of the quest, but lorewise it's not relevant to ???

alright so there was this guy named skien right
he had an island
he was this cool general guy iirc and was friends with bob or something
bob gave him a cow for safe keeping
he slowly went insane because some corrupted nerd tried to stab him and his army with locrian(?)
also he wanted to kill the cow or something after going mad

If you explore Skiens Island, there are plenty of signs scattered around the jail and the fortress giving away lore.

 

Yeah, mostly from the signs around the place (although I've only really looked around the prison part because I'm lazy). However, the section about Locrian was part of the lore from Locrian (in the description under the stats of the dagger) which I read because I was bored waiting for the boss for Reclaiming the House to spawn.
