They go by 30ft/round, they are facing directly toward your rear.

He surges toward Vengeance and raises his fist into the air.
Light spins around it, almost painful to look at.
Vengeance is engulfed in the searing light, although you see its shape in the light.
But slowly, that fades as well. There is a ghostly howl and the sky brightens slightly, followed by a loud snapping sound as the light vanishes.
In its wake is nothing, only glowing dust and sparks along with green smoke.

 

Lewis looks if there is a crater in the ocean

 

No, but there is dark residue mixed with glowing sparks.
Also some swirling.
