Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“Have you tried to train them at all? Plus... why did you leave the stonegazer out there in the wild?”


It folds back into what seems like a perfect copy of her normal royal attire.
“A-are you sure? I meant for it to be a costume...” Amethyst asks, suddenly nervous.

 

"Many have tried, and just as many have failed," I say, "And what stonegazer?"


"Well, it's so wonderful! It seems like a waste to only wear it on certain occasions." Leilia explains.

 

“Fenira, the hydra I left to rot in the Void as a punishment. I sensed her decaying self in your home realm.”


Amethyst smiles, blushing a bit.

 

"Just checking the cave. What ya selling?"

 

“Whatever Rema makes, along with a few trinket bases that I craft. Are you looking for something in particular?”

 

"Huh. I didn't know about that." I say.


Leilia kneels down, putting her hand on the ground to let Amethyst off.

"You should see your audience. I'm sure they'd love to know about the effort you put into making this dress." Leilia says positively, smiling.

 

I go back to the spectral door, opening it and stepping through.

 

“You may want to see what she wants, and perhaps put her out of her misery if she feels she’s suffered enough.”


Amethyst hesitates before stepping off Leilia’s hand and walking nervously to the crowd.

You wind up back in the hallway.

 

"Alright, I'll look into finding her." I say, opening a portal back to the realm of shadows.


The crowd cheers louder as Amethyst approaches, thousands of smiling faces forming a mass of people trying to get a glance at her.

 

I look around for the other Thirteen.

 

Gaia just wades further into the water.


Amethyst seems nervous, slowing as she looks over the crowd.

They’re standing idly one door down.

 

I leave, letting Gaia get into the water. The water is calm and tropical, many colourful fish swimming out of Gaia's way as she gets deeper.


Forest guardians and light creatures all cheer for Amethyst, a few sad faces lost in the crowd brightening up as soon as they get a glimpse of her.

 

Gaia stops once she’s about neck deep into the water.


Amethyst seems uneasy, but gets within reaching distance of the crowd. It’s clear she doesn’t really know what to do.

 

"Not looking for anything. But.. what do you have laying around that you are willing to share?"

 

Gaia senses a few water guardians near to her, though there's something...different about them.


Amethyst hears a mix of requests for lessons to confessions of love, the crowd clearly seeing her in a positive light. A guard stays close to Amethyst, though nobody tries to grab at her.

 

Gaia looks at their souls, curious.


Amethyst simply smiles and raises three claws, threads spinning out as her simple robe weaves itself into a fairly ornate dress, waving to the crowd before heading back to Leilia.
“There’s so many...” She says, still nervous.

“Come on and see for yourself.” Epsi says, turning back and walking down the tunnel with you.

 

"Man, I'm going everywhere today."

 

“It’s barely sunrise, where’ve you been?”

 

I start making my way towards them.

 

“Would you like me to regenerate the room?”
