Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Gaia follows you rather slowly, her joints a bit stiff.


Amethyst starts hauling the costume out of her room.

"Anyhow..."
He's silent for the next two minutes.
"...We're getting close. Do you have a preferred habitat or no?"

 

I wait until Gaia's out of the vault before closing the door, opening the second and then the third once inside the second room; eventually leaving the vault.

"Do you happen to have a smaller form you can change into now?" I ask.


Amethyst finds the job quite easy, the dress seeming to move itself with her.

 

"Gotcha. What kind of trading do you do?"

 

Gaia nods.
"I might need carried out, I don't know how much I have left in me." She says before transforming into her fae form. She seems even more weary after doing so, not even bothering to fly instead of walk.


Amethyst glances around once she has it out, a bit confused.

"I'd ask him if I were you. I haven't gone out to the city in decades."

 

“...Not particularly,”
I start after thinking for a few moments,
“but I have a soft spot for stylish houses. Mansion, manors, and the like.”

 

"Want me to help?" I offer.


A couple of strong looking guards smile at Amethyst as she looks at them.

 

Gaia nods, only just starting to find her balance.


"Thanks." She says happily, relaxing a bit.

"I'll seed that into the room, then. Ornate decor in general, or simply large expansive spaces?"

 

I disappear, empowering Gaia to lend her my strength.

"Feel any better?" I ask in Gaia's mind.


The guards don't say anything in response, but look ready to continue helping Amethyst.

 

"Well, you sell him potions or something, I assume?"

 

"Ever so slightly." She says, at least able to walk.


"I don't know if the queen's coming or if I should bring this to her." Amethyst says, looking at parts of the fabric.

"I give him the potions, he trades them or sells them to get other materials I need."

 

"Just head over to the elevator, it saves a lot of walking. You can visit the dining hall if you want a coffee or something." I say.


"Bringing it to her majesty would be the best option, as to not waste her time." One of the guards suggests.

 

"Coffee doesn't do much for me, though it does smell nice when ground." Gaia comments, looking for the elevator.


Amethyst nods.
"I don't know where she is right now, but I want it to be a surprise for as many people as possible. She knows about it, I don't know if Solus does."

 

“Both.”

 

"And what kind of potions? Are you really a witch and make poisons and such, or are they more friendly?"

 

It appears to be the only other thing in the room, next to the secure, looming wall of the vault.

"Something stronger then?" I ask.


"It's likely she would have informed his majesty too." The other guard says.

 

“I’ll seed both, then.”

“The potions I sell are alternatives to medicines. Some help ease pain, some help you fall asleep, and some are indeed poisons used in small doses for various reasons. I keep the more sinister potions for self defense.”

“I’ll probably just go to Earth and sunbathe.”


“True. I still hope it’s worthy enough for her... and I guess it’s too late to see if Lady Gaia has time to see it.”

 

I simply nod, looking around.

 

"Not bad."

"But hey, I got a question. Or a favor, if you'd like to call it."

 

The masked creature stops a few steps after you start looking around, opening a door to an empty grey room.
“Your presence is your room key.”

“Sure, what is it?”

 

"How much time would it take you to get things ready.. for me to talk with my parents?"
