Orange Wybel Drops

The items from Orange Wybel all reference spelling errors in their names, but they're spelled correctly.
Is this a reference to something behind the scenes in the item team? Or am I missing something? xD

 

Actually they're not spelled correctly
Bonder=Bomber
Braker= Breaker (in case that wasn't obvious)
Slider=Slicer
Stinger=Slinger
^If they were actually spelled correctly

Don't worry though I thought that stinger/slider were spelled correctly as well
hence the reason this became a meme

further information in case you didn't know

the reason why these weapon's spelling errors are somewhat significant is because it changes the item's properties

Slicer implies melee, then spelled as Slider - Slider implies fast movement (WS) and since it's not named Slicer anymore, -melee
Bomber implies explosions which then implies damage, then spelled as Bonder - Bonder... uh... tbh not to sure about this and since it's not named Bomber anymore, -spell, -melee, -explosion
Slinger implies fast shooting weapon, then spelled as Stinger - Stinger implies poison and sort of lifesteal, and since it's not named Slinger anymore, -tier attack speed

braker > negative melee damage?

 

idk if im blind but i dont remember braker having -melee damage

 

hmmm for some reason i tought it had

 

actually, idk what breaker is supposed to be, but when it becomes braker, the word brake is used in the sense of a car brake, hence -ws. maybe the -hp has something to do with the word breaker and braker?
