“Gee, it really would be helpful right now if I possessed some ability to soften my fall.”
I say sarcastically.

 

I cross the room and look up at the obsidian spike.

 

"You can just teleport away if you come near a shadow. So you're fine."

 

“It would be fine, were there any shadows here.”

 

"Okay, the lava is making it pretty hard for any shadow to appear, but you get my point."

As you cross the room, the pools of lava start bubbling. Suddenly, three Fire Elementals and five Magma Mephits emerge! Roll initiative (and make sure your tokens are on the map)
