Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Vexa heads behind her counter momentarily, before taking out a keychain and unlocking her shop's front door. She opens the door and heads out, glancing back at Ruby.

 

"Okay.. that sounds weird."

 

"Dreaming about people can summon their conscience into the dream plane... and yes, it is weird."\

Ruby follows, looking up at the sky.

 

The sun radiates warmly, a few clouds passing by but not blocking it. Vexa heads up around the side of her shop, up toward the volcano.

 

Ruby starts to follow her, then stops.
"Should I wait at the shop?"

 

"Oh, just their consciousness."

 

Vexa shakes her head.

"We need the heat of the volcano in order to forge the Orichalcum. My shop is too cool for it." Vexa says.

 

"And we're leaving the shop unlocked to do so?"

"Yes, that's the only part of you that's here."

 

"Alright. I'll try next time."

 

"If you want to lock it, you're free to do so." Vexa says, offering the keys to the shop.

 

Ruby takes them telekinetically and locks the front door, returning the keys to Vexa once she finishes.

“I look forward to it. Don’t make me wait years, alright?”

 

"Yeah, yeah. I'll try to remember it for next night."

 

Vexa pockets the keys and heads up to the top of the volcano, lava bubbling on it's surface.

 

"Doesn't have to be tomorrow. Maybe shoot for some time this week?"

Ruby follows, straight faced but slightly confused on the inside.

 

"I'll see what works."

 

Vexa jumps into the volcano, disappearing under the lava. The entire volcano begins to rumble, lava seeming to rise.

 

Ruby waits a bit, tracking Vexa's movement.

Fybus nods.
"Don't wind up here for good, or I'll really be giving you a hard time."

 

Vexa seems to swim around in the volcano, before a large forge emerges from the surface of the lava, a pathway leading into the center. The forge is surrounded with the volcano's lava, and large arches leaning over it bellow fire and drop magma onto it. A giant heavy looking hammer appears to rest at the back, most likely for the large anvil in the center of the forge.

 

Ruby levitates over the lava, still tracking Vexa as she tries to check what the hammer's made of.

 

Vexa leaps out of the lava onto the forge, grabbing the hammer. It's hard to tell what the hammer is made of. It appears to be a dark grey with gold runes carved along it's handle and head. The runes emanate a strong magic, though they don't seem like they're making it any lighter. Nonetheless, Vexa appears to be able to handle the heavy hammer easily.
