I agree! Been following him since the time when he made #PokeCA. Quite genius and quality content.

 

To be honest, it's very hard to find someone popular who doesn't clickbait litterally every video, I don't really like watching people play games I play because it ruins the experience for me. For example, DanTDM started with innocent mod showcases and now litterally every video is some sort of clickbait. Popularity corrupts (not in all cases but a lot)

 

I personally don't like PopularMMOs, UnspeakableGaming, and PrestonPlayz

RageElixir is probably even worse than preston
He just seems like a guy that finds a trend that everyone likes and then making it overstay it's welcome + he chooses minecraft pocket edition for some reason.

I like the hermitcraft crew, grian, c r a f t e d m o v i e, Jragon 014, and PhoenixSC
They actually seem passionate about playing the game and their content, rather than a lot of other youtubers who only care about their views and subscribers

Imma edit on youtubers i used to watch and lost interest to:

I used to watch Logdotzip, but I've lost interest in his recent content as it just seems like a copy-and-paste of prestons videos.
Jragon 014, a youtuber i like and found because of him, makes command block creations for Logdotzip to showcase, but he never gives download links and the video thumbnail and title makes it seem like it's new official content
He used to do things like lets plays with friends, map showcases, command block showcases and tutorials, and 1 command block creations, and i like those, but now he's just showing things we can't have access to and his general quality has dropped.

I also used to watch TheRedEngineer, he made these cool 1 command block creations, and they always blew my mind that someone could code a thing like that. However, recently most of his creations are for PopularMMOs, and that they all consist of a form of mini house, which always ticked me off.

ChimneySwitf11, SkyDoesMinecraft, and TrueMU aren't uploading much minecraft anymore
ChimneySwift11 is one of those guys that people forgot unless someone brings his name up. He used to do mod and map showcases, but now he's no longer uploading minecraft content
SkyDoesMinecraft would probably appear on a top 10 saddest anime deaths videos. He made some really good videos about mods and doing stuff with friends and was always one of the best minecraft youtubers
TrueMU hasn't posted anything on his main channel in 2 years. He was like sky, but he played with Logdotzip back when they were good creators.

DanTDM was ehhhhhh I watched him when he did mod showcases, but he did start to strive away from minecraft and appealed more to children.

SimplySarc and SethBling were similar youtubers, but they started to stop uploading. But I will say SethBling is back to his normal antics.

The problem with a lot of minecraft youtubers is that they are starting to care less and less about their content and more about their views and appeal, which leads to the videos RageElixer and Preston are making. Only a few minecraft youtubers make sincere content these days, like the hermitcraft crew, grian, and a few more.

In all seriousness though, I kind of find Antvenom's videos really clickbaity. I still watch him though, since his videos are actually informative and well put together.
I used to really enjoy and respect logdotzip, but his content has gotten incredibly cringey and I can't bring myself to watch him

Anyway, I dislike a majority of Minecraft YouTubers, with the exceptions of Grian, Stampy and a few others. Most of the YTers either clickbait, find a trend that everyone likes then makes it overstay its' welcome, or both.

 

Im mainly into mumbo/Grian rn, sometimes other hermits if their other vids look good. I used to watch logdotzip till he went full on kids content, I like stampy even though he’s kid focused because that’s how he always full.

I hate all Minecraft youtubers

 

I don't despise minecraft youtubers, but they aren't my favourite either.... My two exceptions are Grian, bc Grian. And the other is for the first minecraft video I ever watched, a video by a user named Paulsoaresjr. His videos aren't clickbait-y and even though the gameplay and commentary can be a bit monotonous, the tutorials were simple and helpful. He actually lived in the same town as me for a while, and I met him when I was a bit younger, super nice dude IRL. I have a small soft spot for him.

I don't really watch that many Minecraft YouTubers anymore, so I don't have any that I really dislike. There are a couple ones that I still enjoy watching though. I think I started watching Etho at around episode 280 of his main let's play series, or maybe even earlier. Then there's DireWolf20, who I started watching at I think season 6 of his main series. For whatever reason, he hasn't changed one bit in four years' time.
Also, on the subject of Minecraft channels: does anyone else here know BanjoTown? They used to be this pretty big Dutch YouTube channel that would upload all kinds of videos, mainly Minecraft. They had this server that everyone always wanted to get whitelisted on, and I still remember the moment when my brother finally got accepted and he showed me around the server. Good times.

 

Oh yeah I remember that, those were probably the first Minecraft Youtubers I've watched period.

 

Omg I fking hate PrestonPlayz! I don't like him because that boy plays Minecraft and upload that shit to YouTube!!! You play minecraft in 2018 you might as well give up on life am I right lol kek I'm ju playin homes I play minecraft daily and I recently created a Skype group come join my squad let's indulge in hatred and talk trash together! ?:D

 

Prestonplayz used to be my favorite, then he get into that fortnite and clickbait shit, occasionally ill revisit his channel and hope his content gets better, but it never does.

Yogscast introduced me to Minecraft initially. Still love them even if they don’t play the game anymore, their chemistry is hilarious. Worst have to be DanTDM/Preston with their legions of 4 year old followers

 

i am pretty much same with a lot of the comments here, cant stand preston, unspeakable and kid-orientated youtubers that act along those lines: clickbait, trend-following, childish and a ton of screaming.

Like a lot here, i used to watch some of LogDotZip, back when he did maps and command showcases, but sadly he dropped into the kids only zone as well.

Watched a bit of mod showcase from DanTDM and PopularMMOs back in the days here and there, but we all know where those two went
Then there is the sky army, SkyDoesMC, TrueMU, deadlox, xprmx13, cavemanfilms and some others that i cant remember anymore. Those were the earliest MC videos i ever watched, still remember staying up late in the night to watch those. Most of them either changed contents from minecraft, or quit youtube completely, it is quite literally the fall of an era.

I only started watching AntVenom after he changed his video formats into the more "sciency" side of minecraft, and at first i really liked them, but ever since he went crazy with farlands and worldboarders, it went downhill from there.

Now for some actually really inspiring mc youtuber:
Anyone remember the days when mindcrack was still great? Etho, Docm77, BdoubleO100, ginericb, pauseunpause and many i cannot name, sadly a lot of them left mindcrack due to its coperate transformation and its basically left in ruins now.

Etho, doc and BdoubleO(please bring back building with Bdubz series...) transfered to Hermitcraft, which another group of mc youtubers that i really like are playing on, even until now they are going strong in their 6th season. I personally primarily watch Xisumavoid, but i am sure i can recommend you any of the members there. I am also amazed by how many people above know hermitcraft actually, probably due to Grian's recent entry. Here are to name a few absolutely inspiring hermitcraft members: GoodTimesWithScar (master of organic building), TangoTek(the iron farm guy), impuseSV(you want farms? he got it), iskall85(likely the best standup-comedy potential mc youtuber).

Another smaller youtuber i would recommend is phoenixSC for command block creations.

I dont know if animations fall in this thread as well, but to name a few: elementAnimation, Black Plasma Studio, Slamacow(everyone knows him though)

he’s a youtuber thats done nothing but Undertale + Minecraft mixes where he and a friend put on some skin from an Undertale AU and plays like 3 matches of skywars so the video is barely 10 minutes where he proceeds to add 16 mid roll ads to his videos. im pretty sure he also recently latched onto Fortnite in minecraft but im too lazy to check
