I slam the glass "I was expecting blood"

 

"Why would they serve blood here?"

 

"Why not?"

 

"..." He ponders your question for a minute.

"That's not an argument."

 

"What it's tasty"

 

"It's bitter."

 

"Then you haven't had quality blood"

 

"Yes. Are you in need of something?"

 

"Not really. I was just walking by and saw you sitting on the ground thinking that maybe you're tired. Also I don't think you should sit outside The Institution. They don't like people loitering."

He goes back to drinking.

 

"Noted. Do you know the location of the nearest settlement?"

 

"Y-You mean a town?"

He points down a big cobblestone road.

"Just follow that road. It will take you to the Weather Town."

 

"And... who are you?"

 

"Just a passerby."

 

"Acceptable, if inadequate response. Goodbye."
Desan turns around, walking down the road in the direction the 'passerby' indicated.

 

It's a sunny afternoon. You pass by some tress, in said tress you can see singing birds. The smell of fresh air is really pleaseant and the wind is quite soothing.

That's a reaction.

 

I might be stupid but a counter attack isn't a defensive move. If you're attacking someone back, you're still attacking them. Like, what do you consider counter attack? Also I don't think you can prepare actions or reactions, you just do them.

 

So do I skip my turn to take a reaction?
Like, I want to parry and then counter attack. But that's 2 reactions right?

Like, don't attack? Just move my daggers closer so that it's easier to block/parry/redirect the blade? And don't bother about the attack, I don't have enough actions for that. xD
