Guilds Are Boring

what's the point of guilds? You waste money on territory that boosts your "guild level". And guild levels don't benefit the players directly. Shouldn't you give rewards to the top guilds? Right now guilds are almost cosmetic and mean nothing.

Wynncraft is one of those servers where you decide what you want to do. Being the best isn't all Wynncraft has to offer you, and guilds aren't how you accomplish that. Guilds are intended to be a place where you can make friends and interact with other people, and do wars if that suits you. They're a way to have fun in the game and keep playing after you've maxed out all your levels and stuff.

 

Okay sure they are mostly cosmetic and doesn't always benefit the player, but how in any regard does that make them boring

- wars are really fun
- socializing with guild members is always nice
- adds something to do when you reach the endgame

 

For your information I find it very offensive that you think me wasting money on creating a guild to take over territories and then defend them with only 10 mobs to piss people off wasn't worth it

Actually iirc guilds don't have benefits because they didn't want to give an unfair advantage to guild members over people who don't want to join a guild

Guilds are only boring if you're not participating in the politics behind them.

Yes, minecraft politics, my favorite. Love it more than the politics on TV for good reasons.

 

Consider the following:

You waste fictional money and real time to level up a fictional thing - guilds
You waste real money and real time to level up a fictional thing - the player itself

You join and participate in guilds for FUN, just like how you play video games for FUN (unless you're a professional gamer owo), even though it doesn't really benefit yourself in any other way

 

Its much more fun to manage and run a guild for people like Drew and others, that arent as interested in the actual game, or dont have the time to play the game

And guilds are fun if you know what youre doing

Wow it's almost like guilds are a competitive community of different organizations that form alliances, truces, pacts, etc. and the blanket term used to describe all those is "guild politics"

I mean they're fun to participate in. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean there aren't hundreds of others that do.

Guilds are meant to be social and change based on player decisions. If you're not participating in the social aspects and making any consequential decisions that can impact the guild community as a whole, of course they're boring.

 

And it's easier to have/gain an impact in guild politics as it's a smaller community and everything happens faster
