I don't exactly think manticores get sent down from the sky.
Here's a more detailed description:
It's a large, hulking monstrosity with a faintly dark-green/greenish grey skin tone. It stands on two legs and has a cluster of small green eyes. It has holes instead of ears and nostrils, no mouth, and a head with this kind of shape:

It's got large, powerful limbs and three sharp claws on each hand.
