wow ok never making boss music again with wynn noteblocks
these noteblocks are SCREAMING at me to NOT make HIGH BPM music with them again.

my 3rd attempt at making boss music and id say it turned out a lot better than the othrs. def spent a lot more time making it.
i had a good idea for the video but i re-edited the piece like 3 times while i was making the video. by the third time i didnt think it was worth it anymore so rip.

Nice, this is catchy. The only problem I have with this is with the odd choice of double bass notes at times, but I'd have to say most of the time the clashing double bass notes complement the melody and give the song the dreadful feeling that you would get from a boss battle. You made it work, congratulations. 9/10.

i just want to ask if you can elaborate on the odd choice of double bass notes

 

0:50 through 1:18, parts of it sound weird. Maybe you could have placed better notes for the 3rd and 4th repetition of the bass notes, it sounds kinda hairy to me if that makes sense. But maybe it's just a personal preference of mine, after all, Xavier loves this song enough to listen to it on loop for a long time, and he's a much better composer than I am.
