Tool Wynnforge -- General Utility And Improvement Mod

Why I made The Mod:
There are a lot of great Wynncraft mods out there, but none of them had exactly what I wanted. Most of them were also outdated and didn't work half the time. There was also no way (afaik) to disable certain aspects of the mod.

Probably not because (1) it would add a lot of extra work and (2) I would need to backport every mod update I do. Since the mod is currently in beta, there will be a lot of updates so maybe when the mod is more stable.


Also, I just updated the mod, and the biggest addition is the Useful Compass module. It allows you to set where the compass points. It can either point to specific (x, z) coordinates or to a territory.

so does the compass show the player where to go it would be nice if this could be connected with quests to show the player where to go if he got lost and dont want to look always in his book

 

For quests, the /compass command can be used to set quest destinations. If you have the journeymap mod, you can also create waypoints at quest coordinates.

Just released a small update that includes a fix for right clicking horses (downloadable here). Also uploaded some images here.

 

That looks really good! Nice job! A feature I'd love to see would be the compass pointing towards a tracked quest (if it has coordinates), I think that'd be a nice quality of life addition

This update includes discord rich presence integration (will show server and region you are in).

A bigger part of the update is the wynnforge server. For now, this is used for the mail module but will be expanded much more in future updates. All mail is encrypted, but, just for safety, do not send any private information through the mail module.

 

Will you ever add support for 1.11.2? I'd really love to use this mod but my modpack is in 1.11.2 and everything messes up when i switch to 1.12 :(

 

It has been a while, but there is a new update! Its a small but neat one.
Update 0.2.1 can be downloaded and the changelog can be viewed here.

With this update, there have been some nice additions to the Info module.

Like to go scuba diving in the Seavale Reefs and want to know how much of a haul you got? The info module will now tell you!

Doing a dungeon and not sure how many more tokens you need to advance? The info module now tells you how many you have, so no need to open your inventory while in the middle of mobs!

Down to only a few soul points and want to know how long you need to wait until you get another? The info module will now tell you!

 

Just released another quick update (Update 0.2.2). The download and changelog can be viewed here.

One of the main features of this update is that you only need to load the resourcepack once! No need to wait forever after joining a world even if you have the resourcepack loaded. The mod just tells the server it loaded the resourcepack without actually loading it. (The resourcepack has to be loaded once by joining a world obviously).

Edit: I updated the mod, activated the info module, and it seems every time I select a class with it ON, my game crashes. I turn off info, everything works fine. Any suggestions?

 

Please create an issue here and include the crashlog.
