My guess, and this is just speculation, is that Detlas might get a new look or something. Don't know for sure though

why did this have to happen? first its troms, then ragni, now detlas? detlas was the last thing we had that hasnt been changed so much, its stayed like that for so long and now it has to change? why

 

that's why change happens... things change over time right? The new detlas looks good too. The bees are cool.

 

I feel like older players are going to be mad because detlas was so iconic and has almost never changed, when they did change it it was basically a polish not a complete rework

I don’t see what’s wrong with that. I’d definitely give this new Deltas a chance. The town looks more alive, and there are probably new major features with it too.

 

That doesn't mean the change is bad. I joined in 2014, I remember detlas too. It hasn't changed yet either. The thing is, so much more content has been added to the game which allows builders to make far grander and intricate structures than previously. Player heads and animated set pieces as well as the introduction of entirely new blocks like the different kinds of doors, cauldrons and more blocks means that reworked detlas looks better than the original detlas IMO. Everyone has their own opinion, but I like this change. This sort of makes detlas feel more like a modern build, similar to Corkus.

 

they could have just polished with their new building abilities and it would have pleased both sides instead of this split, oh vell then

 

I’m just unhappy that I need to learn to navigate it all over again and re-experience the times I spent like 20 minutes searching for the scroll merchant to discover it was right beside the bank.

 

All of the buildings have signs tho. And if you were really stuck for 20 minutes, you could always use the wynncraft map to see exactly where the merchants are located.

 

That requires some level of intelligence to do. I do not have that.
