What is beyond it?

 

You enter into a good-smelling chamber with a slightly domed ceiling and pillars integrated into the walls. At the far wall is a large chair, almost throne-like. On it sits a green Dragonborn in ornate robes (celtic style). Before the throne is a wooden table and an armchair.
???: "Welcome, who are you and what do you wish to seek council about?"

 

"I am Boindil, I do not come to seek council. I was exploring this temple or whatever this place is and wandered in here. What do you give council on though?"

 

"I am Ghothor, governor of this city. That depends on what you seek."

 

"I assume there is no cost? If not what is with all of the dragon stuff? Was the city attacked by one?"

 

Gothor: "No, quite the opposite. A green dragon saved us from a hostile red dragon."

 

I'll just walk around the city randomly until I see someone.

I think yes, since both you and Blue are frozen atm. Also, no one bothered to wake you up.

We’ll wait a little so Kanaglath and Rayne get to do something, since they only just met up.
