Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“That’s the best I can do to explain that. Anyhow... my next stop is to speak with Tenebrae. Do you have any further questio-“
Sivius pauses.
“I almost forgot... if you can sate the bloodlust of the four, they’ll be able to act... relatively normal. Shadow Stephanie knows a thing or two about that, if you find her.”

“You’re lucky. That’s not easy... at all.”

 

"Maybe I am lucky. Maybe my wolf isn't as wild as the others."

 

"Shadow Stephanie has been missing for a while, her last known location was travelling to hell," Artemis explains, "There's a statue of Tenebrae you can pray to in order to contact her."

 

“She went to hell for that reason, but if you could show me to the Tenebrae statue, I’d appreciate it.”

“You were always the tame one back at home, in fairness.”

 

"Might be. Can't recall it."

 

Artemis heads toward the colossal doors of the bedroom, knocking twice once she reaches them. The doors open, and Artemis walks through.

 

Just as last time, Sivius follows silently.

“Trust me, you did practically nothing reckless. We were surprised you went off on your own, worried even.”

 

"You talking about me running away?"

 

Artemis makes her way and enters the elevator, turning dials and transporting the pair as she did previously. Sivius is placed in front of a room with a large statue of a female. She appears to be praying herself, Shadows and Guardians alike bowing down in front of it in prayer.

 

Sivius approaches the statue a bit before kneeling and closing his eyes.

"Yep. You were... kinda boring, really. You went out into the forest sometimes, but you never went with us to cause the occasional bit of childish trouble. You were either out in the woods or in your room."

 

The room is silent, sounds seeming to drain away to block out the murmurs of others praying.

 

"Huh.. I don't remember most of that. I do remember going to the woods, yes."

 

"A request to speak with you directly, Lady Tenebrae. It involves you and Lux, perhaps a topic too sensitive for more vulnerable means of communication."

"You went there every other day. I can't say I'm surprised you haven't lived in a city in... well, since then."

 

There's no response, though Sivius doesn't feel completely unheard.

 

"I have not. I'd found no need to do so either."

 

Sivius waits a moment.
"I did not tell you everything, at first. If you are still busy, then I ask you reach out to me at a more convenient time. For now, all you need to know is that what I seek is not quite what many think it is."
Afterwards, he stands up and vanishes. Anyone checking for his presence will notice him leave the Shadow Realm.

"You one of the do-it-yourself types, or is city life just too crowded for you?"

 

Nobody comes for Sivius, he's left to his free will.

 

"Probably the second option. Maybe both now that I think of it."

 

The only person to go in or out of the Shadow Realm is Ruby, passing through to the Void.

“No matter. You seem to be doing fine, especially if you somehow befriended a dragon.”

 

Ruby feels the sense that she's followed as she enters the void, though there's nobody obvious behind her.
