Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis glances at Sgavrinn's metal wing.

"No, of course not!" Artemis says with a reassuring smile.

 

It looks like his other wing, but doesn’t quite fold as well... that or he’s not used to it yet, seeing as it’s still mostly outstretched over a knocked over pile of games.

He seems sufficiently reassured, relaxing again.

 

Artemis pets Sgavrinn a bit more, smiling.

 

“Are you all the way better now?” He asks, tail knocking more things over as he shifts a bit.

 

Artemis nods, a small flower growing from the palm of her hand.

 

"Then stop asking me, dammit."

 

"It was a different question, but again, don't worry about it."

Sgavrinn sniffs at it before resting his head on Artemis' lap again.

 

Artemis sits with Sgavrinn for a bit, going silent; seeming to go into deep thought.

 

Her thought, if that, after a few moments is somewhat interrupted by the weight of Sgavrinn's head slowly resting fully on Artemis' lap as his eyes droop.

 

Artemis pets Sgavrinn lightly, letting him rest.

 

"You're making me even more confused. Can we just change the subject?"

 

He winds up napping for half an hour before stretching and trying to stir... knocking even more things over.

"Sure. You got anything to start, or...?"

 

Artemis seems to have left, Sgavrinn's head placed on a pillow.

 

"Let me think. You got anything?"

 

He rearranges himself (the guards outside hearing a bit of the knocking over by now) again before dozing back off on the pillow.

"You could tell me about your pack." She shrugs.

 

"Ah yes. Let me tell you about them."

(Idk their names. Or the leader. It's been so long, let me look.)

 

Artemis keeps her hand on her bow as she exits the shadow palace, looking through the active portal.

 

"So, there's Keela. She's the alpha of the pack. We can talk with each other, which sounds odd, but it's true."

"We have Lucy and Sparky. They are kind of my pets. Well.. everyone in the pack is kind of my pet. But Lucy is an eagle and my eye in the sky. Sparky is the strongest, being a bear and such."

 

"So, you can talk with the pack leader and none of her underlings, and then you have other animal companions? How'd you even meet them in the first place?"

 

"I told you I ran away, right?"

"Well.. I got lost in the woods, and tripped on some roots that were sticking out of the ground. I tripped and got knocked out. I don't know for how long, but when I woke up, they were there. Passive towards me."
