“Oh, what’d they do?”

“Even then it’s iffy.”

 

"I'll just forget about it then."

 

“It’s just... weird. Roll with it.”

 

"They captured Katie's parents, destroyed their ship and killed some of their crew. They only did it as a show of power." Artemis explains.

 

"Is that why the robot bee spends so much time near the portal here?"

 

"Robot bee?" Artemis asks, confused and slightly concerned.

 

“The robot bee that’s really big and talks funny.”

 

"It hasn't come through the portal, has it?" Artemis asks.

 

“I don’t know, I just woke up a bit ago and it was hovering near it.”

 

Artemis looks like she's about to take action before she calms herself, petting Sgavrinn a bit more.

 

“Did it do something over there?”

 

"Easy enough to do."

 

"No, I'm just worried about what it's going to do." Artemis says.

 

"Maybe you could find someone to ask it?"

"I figure you're already getting some practice in with that."

 

"Sure.."

 

"Well...I suppose I could ask some of the guards to scout it out in my stead." Artemis considers.

 

"What, hasn't she told you what to do already?"

"Do you not like it because it's a robot bee instead of a real bee?"

 

"Okay, I'm lost. I have no idea what you're talking about."

 

"That's...partially the reason." Artemis says.

 

Fybus chuckles.
“Don’t worry about it.”

Sgavrinn seems a bit worried.
“You won’t like me less because of my wing, will you?”
