I have to go for about 1 hour and 30 minutes now.

I'll go to the church building.

 

It’s not really a church, but that’s the best icon I found.
It’s a huge rectangular stone building with a large wooden gate flanked by two stone statues. The building has open windows, but there are wood shutters.

It says:
Dear Larath
After much research and struggle, I have finally been able to make a course to Nostradamus’ island. You sail in a straight line southeast from Neidar, and after about half a day you will be there. It’s surrounded by a globe of thick fog, so it might be hard getting to the island.

I go inside

 

The gate creaks open to reveal a large antechamber with pillars and arches supporting the roof. Between the pillars are benches. At the far end of the room is a large stone spiral staircase leading up through the roof, but also down. The hall is lit up by large bonfires in ornate fountain-like constructions. The floor is a mix of stones and minerals that looks like rippling water, and the ceiling looks like a blue cloudless sky.

@Nozomi Tojo ~ where do you go?

 

"This is helpful. So do you have any other ancient texts?"

 

Larath: "Glad I could be of help. Yes, why?"

 

"I want to read them. Ancient knowledge is exciting to say the least."

Larath: "Indeed. It seems we have a common interest. Most of the books I have procured are legends and myths about the Elder Gods. But, ancient texts! Let's see..."
She looks through her bookshelf and pulls out what looks like three sheets of dried animal hide, bound together by sinew. She holds it out toward you.

Favos is asking about ancient texts.
Larath also found the letter.

 

I carefully take it and see what's on it

 

The hide is crisp, and you feel a drop in your strength when you take it.
On the hide is scrawled large Deep Speech symbols.
