    I just remembered that this item, Halation, existed.

    The definition for halation is:

    The spreading of light beyond its proper boundaries to form a fog around the edges of a bright image in a photograph or on a television screen.
    Judging by this definition, the Thunder element makes sense for it. So what’s strange about it? It can only be bought at Candycane Island, and it once was a prize for the Wynnter fair, despite the fact that the definition has nothing to do with snow or winter. It must be a reference to something then. Wait a minute...Snow? Halation? Of course! I’ve heard of this before:



    We know that a certain someone on the Item Team is a weeb, but Halation was created before the IT was a thing, so that must mean Selvut is a weeb. Case closed

    Can someone actually ask Selvut if Halation was meant to be a reference to Snow Halation, it might be a reference to christmas lights instead but I’m still genuinely curious
