Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Ihra turns and seems to lighten up a bit.
"Oh, hey Onyx."

"Again, I don't mean to spoil your affection for her, but... first time seeing a kitsune and you fall in love? That's just too suspicious."

 

Onyx meows at Ihra passively.

 

Ihra continues on, letting Onyx mind whoever's business she feels like.

 

Onyx follows, seeming curious.

 

Ihra heads into the cryostasis room, Avis landing on her shoulder but keeping quiet once she sees Onyx.
Ihra flies up a few floors, then heads onto the main platform out of sight.

 

Onyx looks around the cryostasis room nervously, hoping to find somewhere to hide should the worst happen again.

 

There doesn't seem to be much other than cryostasis tubes, though she could probably slip through the narrow spaces between two chambers.

 

Onyx looks up to where Ihra went, on edge.

 

Onyx can hear her footsteps above, but not see her.

 

"Everything with time. I'll see."

 

Onyx decides to hide between some cryostasis tubes, worried.

 

Avis eventually flies over and peeks down at Onyx.

"Fair. Gotta wake up first, right?"

 

Onyx pretends to be a stuffed cat, remaining completely still in one pose.

 

Avis sniffs at her before looking away, Onyx also hearing footsteps from a few floors up.

 

"Yeah, yeah. Later."

 

Onyx stays still, scared.

 

She can see Ihra walk by between the cryotubs after a moment.

“Of course. Please, stay a while. I’ve still got catching up to do with you.”

 

"Exactly. Only a little time passed. Who knows how much we have left until I leave?"

 

“It’s been...”
Fybus glances down at her watch.
“...fifteen minutes since you showed up.”

 

Onyx stays still for a bit longer, before following Ihra.
