Media Fish Getting Crushed By Pistons, Tasty Berries, And Crabs? A Theory. . .

So by now a lot of you have probably seen the thread posted by salted titled "Tasty Berries." After he posted that there was a lot of analyzing people did, but I'm gonna tell you that there was no secrets hidden in the threads, they're all about symbolism, maybe.

Salted posted a GIF on himself pressing a button that crushed a fish he placed down somewhat back. I believe that that might've been telling us that the next update would involve many new game mechanics.

Now, he said that this would mean nothing to anyone for months, and it still means. . . Nothing! There are no clues here, it might just be a simple message that there will be new mechanics in WynnCraft in the (hopefully) soon to come updates.

Next we have salted posting the thread "Tasty Berries" in which the picture he shows, I think it may be saying, "look at all this cool stuff we have in Wynn now." this is coming from the fact that there are berries, zombies, emeralds, and the general texture pack in the picture. And that might be all there is to Tasty Berries.

But then, out of the blue, Salted posts This Thread, featuring some amazing looking mobs, this MIGHT just be a part two of the tasty berries, "look what we have." and then the crabs say, "but look, we can, and will do even better!" If this symbolism is correct it would mean that the next update wont just feature some nice new content, but also incredible new game mechanics.

To walk away from this thread, the thing to wrap it all up is what the possible symbolism all means is, this game is made in Minecraft, it still features a lot of Minecraft stuff. This next update might take WynnCraft, and drive it way fucking farther away from Minecraft than it already it.

But remember, that's just an idea, a pretty random and probably wrong idea!

And quick side note: it's been said that jpresent is leading a super secret huge project and what other thing could it be than features and/or game mechanics?

All in all, this is a great game, and I cannot wait for the next update as each one is always worth the wait! Except maybe Gavel since it was unfinished, like, really, finish your stuff before releasing it, c'mon!

I'm still confident that the emeralds in the screenshots represent the amount of teasers left? Seems very plausible

 

My guess is a new hunger/food system. The fish post means the crafting/cooking mechanic, and the berry post is fruit gathering mechanic, the crab post means monster now can drop foods. After all, fish, berry and crab are all editables, but this is just my guess :)
Edit: and the emeralds could means foods are tradable.

 

At this point I like to think that Minecraft is basically just the game engine and they are going to town on it. Trying so many things and seeing how far they can push it. Its really cool watching them come up with new things that we didn't think possible in Minecraft! :D

 

The teasers have something to do with 6 in them. In the new teaser there is 6 emeralds, and Salted is level 66. In the older teaser with the tasty berries, there is also 6 emeralds on the ground. There might be more subtle things like this in the teasers, but so far this 6 thing seems to be the only major point of interest.

I know the zombie one, where are the other 5? I can only see 5 in total

 

I'd bet my whole bank that this isn't important in any way.

 

If it was just that one thing, then yeah. But the number 6 has cropped up a lot in these little teasers salted has posted, so there's presumably something important with the number 6.

Hmm... I guess, but still. They've done elaborate teasers before, but nothing like this so it's kinda hard to tell.

 

My thought process is that if it isn't as elaborate as "???," then it's within reason. Besides, Salted made a meme saying it was really vague/subtle.
