Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She goes there and sits down... then dissipates.
Seems Eve was tricked.

 

Eve immediately sprints back to the Shadow Palace, moving at extreme speed and arriving in just under a minute.

 

Ihra doesn't appear to be there, either.

 

Eve scans for Ihra's signature traits, checking the palace and then the town.

 

Nothing in either place.

 

Eve heads back to the void palace to check for Ihra there.

 

As she heads through the portal, she can just barely hear a faint wingflap and a giggle behind her.

 

Eve immediately spins around.

 

She sees nothing, and scans don't even show a trace of Ihra.

 

Eve checks for anything invisible.

 

Nothing whatsoever... but Ihra reveals herself to be flying above her.
"I think I'm learning. You couldn't scan me, right?" She asks.

 

Eve stays silent.

 

Ihra vanishes again, somehow totally untraceable by Eve's scanners.

 

"We're trying to do it together. But not always."

 

Eve looks around, trying to find some way of locating Ihra.

 

"I take it that means she's doing most of it and trying to include you?"

She seems to have found a way to slip though Eve's detection entirely.

 

"I've found a good spot for our wedding and ordered a cake. I'm doing pretty good."

 

One of Eve's fingers seems to become more needlelike as she waits for Ihra to reappear.

 

This time, she doesn't.

"Yeah, that's fair. You're already participating more than a lot of my friends who got married."

 

"I say I deserve a pat on the back for effort."
He smiles.
