Media Thoughts On Upcoming Gameplay Features

When I asked jp, he said that the major update will bring more RNG to the game.

Will it be a new item crafting system?

Or maybe some kind of gems along the powders which you can apply to your items which will have powerful effects?

Or prefixes/suffixes feature?

My final guess would be a crafting system.

What are your thoughts?

I think that a food system will be introduced. The first Salted teaser had fish in a piston. The second one had berries and wheat. There were also emeralds in the background of the first teaser, maybe indicating that you can buy food. The player could also create food, indicated by the piston.

But its just speculation. You never know what could happen.

 

Next thing you know we'll have an item tier above mythics, only one per server.

 

I think it was already said that they'll never add a tier above mythic

 

That makes me very sad. RNG is terrible game design. I was hoping for something cool. Like mythics haven’t totally ruined Wynn already.

 

I think we will finally get what we asked for for so long: player housing!

RNG in general is just ass. Period. It doesn’t actually improve the gameplay; just adds more fluff to the game and makes it frustrating to do anything because you can’t control it. This is exactly the kind of stuff I was worrying about when JP said that the game will be much longer. Instead of making ACTUAL content, they’re going to make what they do add take much longer than it needs to be...

 

RNG can be done well, but let's not have a second round with mythics. There's no way anything like that would get unanimous support. I think the daily crates already account for loot boxes technically. Even literal crates from VIP and Hero ranks are RNG cosmetic systems. I would like to see the discord screenshot with context though.

Idk man, I really don’t see how more RNG could benefit the game, especially since it’s an MMO.

 

I hope there will be more endgame stuff to do as in terms of progression but i dont think I am experienced enough xD
