Because an update this "big" can't just be squished out of a keyhole.

 

They’ve been working on the update for months

 

How many?

 

More than a year since they work on 2 updates at a time.

 

Remember, this update was being developped alongside RtD.
They wouldn’t just bench over a year of work just to start work on something totally new that had no progress on it at all. It was likely going to come alongside RtD

Tbh I don't even care if RTD is delayed, I'm just happy we got SOME type of update on how things are going since it is a million times better than getting hit with the soon(tm) paddle. Also everyone would go batshit if the CT released some other update before RTD if Grian didn't make this thread.

 

Offensive is a relative term , people can't be expected to watch their every word in fear of offending someone , people in wynncraft are from all over the world and different people take offense from different stuff and different levels of aggression , some of his posts were a bit aggressive but that's his right and if people don't like them they are free to ignore them however shutting them down by calling them offensive is just denying his free speech .

 

I know where you're coming from, but to be fair, you're basically telling people to ignore points brought up in a debate that are found offensive.

With that kind of logic, I could put any of my points in a debate into an "offensive" manner of speaking and automatically win the debate because they would ignore all of my points because they're "offensive".
