Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Very well. I must return when she is present then, it seems." The guard says, before taking his leave.


"A few days. I have come in Aj's place to inquire about the current state of the gods. Mainly the damage they are doing, can do, and their mind control status." Eve responds.

 

"I could send someone to your realm when she's back." The dryad offers.


"Well, nothing's really changed. Same three are fine, same three are controlled. Idhaenna's finally started being useful, though, now that she's done rebuilding."

 

"That would certainly help. If you could, please do." The guard says, smiling.


"Useful? In what way?" Eve asks.

 

They nod.


"Her forces are actually mobilizing instead of rebuilding her palace. She's really not big on magitech, though, and I swear she could singlehandedly beat the Hive Master if she turned to it."

 

"Perhaps a visit to her will be necessary then." Eve says, thinking.

 

"You can't change her. We've known her for... what, literally forever? She's always been like this."

 

"I wouldn't intend to. If she can singlehandedly take down the Hive Master, then strong relations will do us good." Eve says.

 

"She can't, I don't even know if magitech would cut it. Still, she equals us with her technology alone - having heard of a few things Praecantatia has, I'm almost glad she doesn't like magitech."

 

"Well...I suppose magitech is partially the reason why I'm here." Eve says, looking at her hands.

 

"Stella'd be all over you, in that case."

 

"I've heard of Stella," Eve says, tone starting to sound fearful, "I...I don't want to meet her."

 

"You probably already have." Xlentia shrugs.

 

"She may have contacted me in the past, but meeting her in person is a daunting idea," Eve says, looking scared, "I...I want to stay me. I don't want to lose myself."

Eve's eyes start to get teary.

 

"You... do realize that it's impossible to meet her fully in person, right? I don't even know what you mean by staying you, she can project herself to just about any holographic machine."

 

"Y-Yes, I understand," Eve says, wiping her eyes, "S-Sorry, I just remembered something unpleasant."

 

"It's fine, mortals have had bigger breakdowns in front of me before." Xlentia sighs, rolling her eyes.

 

"Well, I suppose I should go visit Idhaenna. Is there anything you want me to tell Aj once he recovers?" Eve asks.

 

Xlentia shrugs.
"I dunno, I figure whenever something goes horribly wrong then I'll just tell him myself."

 

"Alright." Eve says, nodding and smiling before heading to the portal room; using jetboots to make her journey shorter.

 

It seems to already be set to Idhaenna's palace, EBB visible on the other side reading off a holographic report of some kind to Idhaenna.
