Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The door creaks open, the church seeming a little more populated this time but nobody seeming to mind.

 

"Sure. I'll stick around a bit longer."

 

She looks for the exit, steps becoming silent.

“I mean, while you’re here, you may as well ask me any other questions you might have.”

 

"Eh.. I can't think of any needed questions."

 

The exit resides at the back of the church, few forest guardians even sparing a glance at Fable as she walks by.

Outside, the village is quiet. The sun seems to have already set, turning the world twilight as the moon begins to shine.

 

She looks around the village, looking for a way out or someone sitting outside.

“Well, I appreciate the visit. Stay safe.”

 

The village appears to be completely closed in by the surrounding trees, though forest guardians seem to be able to part the trees just by walking up to them. Nobody seems to be sitting outside, rain drops still falling through the leaves albeit at a reduced rate.

 

"Thanks. I'll probably be chatting with my sister for a while, if you don't mind?"

 

“No, go ahead.”

Fable tries walking near the trees, curious.

 

The trees loom over Fable, unmoving. If she wanted to, Fable could bust through a small gap in the trees, though that would probably do a lot of damage.

 

"Alright. Can I check back on you later if I have any questions?"

 

She turns back and looks for a forest guardian still out and about.

"If I'm here, yes."

 

Fable sees a forest guardian walk through the trees not too far from her, entering. Their mouth and hands look covered in blood, however.

 

"Sounds good."

 

She first goes to try and slip through before stopping, looking at them uneasily.

"Well, go on. You don't have to wait on me to talk to her."

 

Fable seems too late, the trees closing. However, now closer to the forest guardian, she can see that the blood on the forest guardian has a tint of purple to it.

"Yes?" The forest guardian asks, seeming a little confused.

 

"Cool, bye."

He leaves the room, I guess. He goes through the door, I don't know where I'll end.

 

"Could you let me out, please?" She asks.

Fybus is waiting for you just outside the room.
"Well, did you get your question answered?"

 

"Oh, sure." The forest guardian says, opening a wide gap in the trees for Fable.

 

"I did. I don't know where to find him, but I should let him rest for now it seems."
