wtf why are there so many people saying guardian is trash, yes damage is underwhelming but you're comparing a super offensive based spear vs defensive based spear the fact that the damage is even close is stupid

pros of guardian:
hpr (honestly i couldn't care less about that but it's there)
700 more hp
slightly higher elemental defenses (although, there are 2 extra powder slots on hive build, allowing you to catch up to guardian)
400 more uppercuts
105 int (1 less uppercuts, 1 less bash, 1 less warscream)
more raw def (although i'm not sure if it makes a different at that point if stacked with war scream
900 more melee dps

pros of hive spear:
higher lifesteal
higher mana steal

also, guardian doesn't give THAT much compared to hive spear when compared in raw stats

it gives hpr (which i once again express that i don't really think that does much without agi/vanish),
it gives raw def that i'm not even sure has an effect when stacked with warrior buffs
it gives ele def %
it gives hp which allows you to basically reach hive spear damage OR make you a super tank

8. Agreed. I mean dude, there isn't any atk buff on a mythic.... It is tanky of course, but the damage is just meh
7. Even though it doesn't add fire damage, it has a lot of def and well... it is just fine, it is like the water damage on tcrack (welp one of my friend played water build with tcrack and his uppercut was insane af, but that isn't the point xD
6. There is a ton of problems with Hero. Let's start off with that str points, it just make it looks like an earth-air hybrid spear. Also look at the damage, even with the 40(avg) str buff, it still doesn't get a decent damage. Also the spell damage of warrior is really horrible, much more horrible than a horror film.... Just to say, buff hero please, air warriors are so fucking screwed up

1: Bobs mythic wand - i lost mine before the gavel update so i was stuck with using ethereal 0/10 no good wand i want a refund

 

So here is my list
5. Pure: When a legendary which is 5 levels higher does way more damage than a mythic.... you know what I mean, Ethereal does more damage and IT HAS POWDER SLOTS
4. Hero: I am proud of owning a hero as an avos warrior, but this mythic is basically screwed up. First of all, you do just 100 more damage per hit with its strength sp, and it looks like you deal 1100 dmg with very fast attack speed (assume you are with sagittarius), and it gives just 39% ws at max (seriously? even lower than a legendary known as slider? hell no). Also if you are to play this with spell build, Hero itself doesn't buff any of them. Not to also mention, with the fact that warrior sucks at using spells, Hero build just aren't viable, compared with air mythic builds in other classes. Buff hero plz
3. Alkatraz/Apocalypse (tied lmao) : These two mythic has a thing in common: Super slow attack speed. So you have to use some kind of tier attack buffs like centi coi thingy. Alkatraz may be fine with this since earth builds are quite glass, but apoc is supposedly for tank builds, but with a piece of glass armor like centipede.... just no. the survivability decreases as the damage increases, at these cases (see flameshot hilt/singularity/compiler, I can hardly make a build with balanced tankiness and damage, except my assassin with flameshot, which can solo LI like a boss)
2. warchief: rip that defense. 120 str req is fine for me, but there are a ton of penalties. Just why don't use Gaea or Acclerator.
1. Az: See pure. Also I wanna add something on this. First of all we have cwb and spiritshock, they deal literally the same damage with Az. And for endgame, we have Arc rifle.... So why tf should we use this mythic, it doesn't even stand out even for its level

 

Which it compensates for with 20k bombs and higher than cata DPS

also LS never procs on divzer because of super fast attack speed, so dont even bother with it

 

Hero
Actually, the reason why Hero has Strength points is to DISCOURGE earth builds.

If you had Earth Hero builds, then the +60str would have less of an effect (you would already invest points into Str, and as we know the higher you invest into a SP the less effect each SP has. The +40 Str or so is pretty much equal to +30% damage. Take that in.

Monster
melee monster doesn't really work well

Ignis
Ignis is pretty balanced. Ignis is pretty much Guardian but without screwed over damage. (yes it's not as tanky but it actually can get higher damage than Strati which is neat I guess)

Galleon
It's only 70int, and also it's meant for Hybrids (-atk tier, mana steal, high earth damage, melee damage, it screams hybrid into your face)

Apocalypse

there is nothing wrong with super slow tho, as alkatraz does not have to hit fast (alkatraz+galleon+tuarus)
and you have NO right to complain about apoc being bad, (hating is fine tho cuz everyone hates apoc) and tier stack doesnt make apoc glass, youre tank warrior and automatically block 95% neutral dmg, and your lifesteal accounts for the -elemental defences

welp, i just don't get it. the damage is still low asf after adding 30% dmg just WHAT THE HECK
also I once made spell gear with hero as the main weapon, its uppercut is even lower than the damage Zero does (i mean ToA gear + Zero) and i got pissed off after looking at the damage

just don't like slower attack speed, also Gaea can do that kind of trick too (raw sd, melee damage, earth damage, insane def), so i don't really see a point of using galleon

 

Gaia has melee damage

Galleon is meant for HYBRIDS

since you don't seem to know what a hybrid is, it's basically a spell/melee build that uses mana steal

>it has -1 tier attack speed, allowing the chance for life/mana steal to proc on powder specials go up
>it has 5/4 mana steal, which is fantastic for hybrids
>it has melee damage, which is fine since you'll be meleeing for mana steal
>it has insane earth damage, which all around helps out

also next time can you use hive wand as an example
while I agree that you can mana steal with -tier atk speed, your melee will be just worse than hero's (seriously? 2k dmg slow atk speed? I can use Zephra + sagit just to do that kind of melee)
and you made that build with earth sanctuary, makes it got like 6k more dmg in uppercut....

here i mean Gaea, Gaea-hewn boots, which gives 150 sd and some kind of melee/earth damage

zephra + sagi has less than 1/2 the spell damage

yes, the melee is lower but you charge quake just as quickly and your powder specials do just as much damage

try to make a better build using gaea hewn boots, or rather any non-mythic spear build that's better.

replace gally with gaea hewn boots and you get

-not enough sp
-significantly less mana
-less damage
-double master hive

-higher ele def
-higher hp

 

wtf??? why are you comparing them with different builds? "Infused hive has higher lifesteal" well no shit you used a lifesteal item, what did you expect?? Guardian to magically gain lifesteal? Normally you would think to build full morph to compare items to compare the actual strength of the items, and not the items used in a build.

+13% in all defense besides water and fire
+26% fire def
-653 Average Uppercut Damage (this is a lot less with other spells since spell multi)

Pros of Hive over Guardian
+14% water defence (guardian has -water def)
+2/4 MS
+2/4 MR
+20% in all types of damage (besides raw spell/melee/poison)

The fact the builds you used had guardian doing more damage is a joke, Infused hive is supposed to be offensive
