Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I think I lived here, but when I went to my love's house, she wasn't there." The air guardian says.

 

"I'm just going to pretend I got that."

 

“I didn’t think you would be the type to try and figure out how everything works here. Still, what brings you to my home?”

“Think? Your memory got wiped?”

 

Oh god, I completely forgot. Let me read things back a bit.

"Well.. there isn't a specific reason for my visit. I was looking for a friend, and couldn't find him, so I ended up here. I then heard people saying you were a werewolf, so I was interested in meeting you."

 

"I guess so." The air guardian says, sighing.

 

"Are there any guardians that can see spirits?"

"Well, let's take that one at a time. Who's your friend?"

 

"Life and Death guardians are known for that ability." The air guardian says, though not seeming hopeful.

 

"He's a green dragon. Not to big, he can carry one person on his back."

 

“Do you see any here?”

“Does he like eating flowers?”

 

The air guardian looks around, before shaking their head.

 

"He does. Did you see him?"

 

"Oh. I... uh, I dunno what to do, then."

"Yes, but not recently. He's... been to several cities, always visiting floral shops for snacks."

 

The air guardian sighs.

"I suppose I could help you with your problem. Maybe I will find the answer to mine..." The air guardian says, defeated.

 

"And he doesn't pay, does he?"
He laughs

 

"I'm hoping it takes us to Gaia. Nobody would know Terra better... right?"

"No, but he doesn't take anything either. Tamest dragon I've seen or heard of in a while."

 

The air guardian nods, though more obediently than agreeingly.

A young girl enters the library, coming from the rain. She seems to wear a dark blue dress, and her tall hat and broom seem to imply she's a witch of some kind. The girl looks around a bit, soaked, before sitting down in the children's area and wringing out her sleeves.

 

Fable turns towards her and looks at her for a while.
"Maybe she can see you?"

 

The air guardian heads over to the witch, head held low until he's in front of her.

The witch doesn't seem to react.

 

Fable follows, though she gives the witch some personal space.
"Excuse me, do you have a minute?" Fable asks, hushed as usual.

 

The witch looks up innocently, looking a little lost.

"Hm?" The witch asks.
