He's about the same CR as Lilith. Treat him the same way. If he's on the list and if shows up, he wouldn't kill you right away. He would toy with you, try to either turn you or learn from you. Only if you piss him off would he attack, and ofc there would be some convenient way to escape

 

Right, noted. But I feel like he doesn't have as much social potential as she does.

I guess I understand where you're coming from, but the reason he's on the material plane should be legit, not just because you feel like tormenting my character with vague ominous denouncements.
