Evaren: "Indeed... It was quite the experience. I was, however not successful in my mission to rescue that man; a former comrade of mine. I admit I sort of lost control for a moment. But such losses cannot be harboured for eternity. I have let it go now."

 

''What spell did you use to stop her?''

 

Evaren: "I cast a simple Suggestion. It is not of a very high Class but it did the trick."

 

''What were those ruins, i could read some of the writings in it''

 

Evaren: "Yuan-Ti Prison."

 

Do I know what Yuan-Ti are?

 

They are a snake/human race.

 

"How long ago was that?"
Also for how long have I copied the spell

 

Evaren: "Many years ago."
The story only took about five minutes.

 

"I see, and what was that staff you we're carrying if you don't mind be asking?"

 

"Just a regular quarterstaff. I have had it for a long time. It is still with me."
He points to the staff hanging above the fireplace.

 

"And what about all the other exotic items you have collected. Do they have stories?"

 

"They indeed do. Although I would not have time for all of them. Probably the least exotic items here are those boots and the cloak. They were part of my early equipment."

 

"Oh?" I say with intrigue wanting to here more

 

*Laughs* "You are indeed a curious fellow. They are not that special, except I... won the cloak from a stranger from another land."

 

"How'd you win it? A game of cards? Dice?"

 

"...Magic. It was a fairly dull contest, about who could produce the most impressive effect."

 

"How did you beat them?"

 

"Well, I produced a more impressive effect. I used Counterspell to shut down my opponent's spell. They deemed that impressive enough."

 

I'm really not sure what's going on here since we defeated the globster. Can I get a recap?
