Which Hive Item Would You Go For?

Put this in class builds if necessary, but just wanted to see which item people used the most.

 

It depends on the build really. If I was going for a max thunder damage build that also was able to spam builds, I'd go with the Hive Dagger with T6 powders, since it gives so much damage. If I was going for a black build then I'd go for a Anima Infused Helmet, or the Hephaestus-Forged greaves since they both give good damage and health. And so forth. So to get my point across, it really depends on the build which item would be useful for you as some may just seem down right stupid to pick for your build.

 

Clarifying his purpose :
It depends on build as you said anyway, but what would you get if you have to pick one?

I think Boreal is the most flexible in the sense that it can fit into a lot of different builds, but the all the weapons are pretty much one of the best legendary/non-mythic weapons for each class (and are flexible for any element/build).

 

In my opinion the Hive Dagger is the most flexible of the Hive items since it has 5 item slots and 2/4 mana regen and if you are basically able to reach 10k spins with any element. It also allows you to have a lot of secondaries since it has no requirements.

 

That's the case with all 4 hive weapons lol. It's just more apparent on assassin cause most assassin legendaries/non-mythics are bad.

Anima: I don't really know. Really. Maybe i didn't find a use of this helmet yet.
Boreal: It is a really good chestplate for a spell build since it has defense, relatively high health compared with other spell chestplate... etc.
Hephaestus: I mean this is a good legs if you are to make a tank build with centi, since you have enough HP and defense to counter some kind of negative fire defense on centi or the low health of it... Anyways it is a super viable leggings if you are using a tank build.
Gaea: It has relatively high health and defense when compared with non-mythic boots (anyways, if you have warchief, I would still recommend Gaea anyway). Not only that, you got a melee damage buff from there, which is rare since basically all other boots (not mantlewalkers) aren't really for melee builds. <- oh yeah acclerator is for melee as well, shit memory lmao
Intensity: High health.... I suppose?
Prowess: It got some skill points and health which makes it really nice (oh btw you can only equip one piece of hive in a build, rip prowess)
Contrast: I FORGET THE FUCKING STATS
Hive weapon: People like daggers more since basically all non-mythics are bad (sitis aren't as good either, just look at the stats in tidebinder and you can find the difference). Also hive bow can be served as the alternative of Freedom. Others are fine too, but they don't stand out like hive bow and dagger does.

Conclusion: It really depends on the build. Like seriously, if you are to make a spell build, who tf will put gaea in their build? Personally I will choose gaea since I LIKE EARTH k ty

 

A lot of amazing builds utilize Prowess.

Hive Weapons are good for what they're worth.

really good damages for a ring

tied to give highest amount of sp out of all accessories, but it doesn't require any sp points beforehand which is really nice

oof, basically it's 750 poison, 1250 hp, then stuff like thorns and reflect

imo they all stand out really nicely. hive spear is practically your only thunder warrior option, hive wand does insane damage and gives water% for heals

i mean, gaea does give raw spell + good defenses + good hp + 25% damage. solid option for fire/earth spell builds

 

any of them other than the weapons and the rings and necklace, but it doesnt matter anyways now because you can trade them at anytime and theres no point in doing the quest more than once (except for xp) because you cant wear more than 1 item at a time
