Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You wanna get a drink?"
Voidfiller stands up and starts walking over to a sort of water fountain in the corner of the park.

 

"A few people in this town have spoken to Gaia actually." The earth guardian says.

 

"Grandmother... you mean Rema?"

 

“My concern is that I will meet her... I was built to kill gods of life. I could injure her with a touch, unless I have a wielder.”

“Yes, her.” She nods.

Ted trots to the fountain.

 

"I don't think that's too likely." The earth guardian says, smiling.

 

Voidfiller goes behind the fountain, discreetly putting down a bowl and filling it with lava for Ted.

 

He kicks against one of the walls.
"Why..? Why am I like this?"

 

“Part of me thinks she’s already keeping an eye on me.”

“It’s fine. I’m not gone, after all.”

Ted ignores it and starts inhaling the steam he makes from the fountain.

 

The earth guardian shrugs.

There's suddenly a bright flash, followed by a large crash of thunder from outside.

 

Voidfiller desummons the bowl as other dogs run around the fountain.

 

"You're dead! I killed you!"

 

The area around the fountain starts to fill with a cloud of steam.

“My body, yes. My spirit, you didn’t harm.”

Fable glances outside.
“Wasn’t it just sunny?”

 

Some people start to look suspiciously, Voidfiller bending down to scratch at Ted.

 

Ted turns, tail wagging at the attention before seeming nervous with all the onlookers.

 

Some of them start to whisper before Voidfiller clicks with his mouth idly.
"Let's keep it movin', yeah?"
He whispers.

 

"What about the others. Did I kill them too?"

 

Heavy rain pours down outside, the window Fable looks through hazy from all the water.

"It's been raining since this morning, quite heavily. The air and water guardians are probably enjoying it though." The earth guardian says.

 

"Huh... sometimes I wish I could see light."

"Relax, just me. The others... well, one's still alive and well. I haven't seen the other."

Ted looks up at you attentively, thinking you called for his attention.

 

Voidfiller's looking away from Ted, smiling at the onlookers.

 

He leans against one of the walls, head in his hands.
