To be fair, I think Bendy was originally intended to be multiple chapters

 

it was, but it still applies, if the game didnt get much attention it wouldnt have been continued.

tbh I wish fnaf stopped at fnaf 4 like it originally was going to but then fans were demanding more and more of it so scott made sl to satisfy them but they just kept demanding anyways

 

Fnaf should've stopped after one, but he wanted to harass MatPat and laugh at his tin foiled hat theories so he made more just to have a quick chuckle mate.
For real though, the original fnaf had a good storyline, I mean you can't get more simpler than, murdered children possessing robots. It made sense. But then came along the next few games, and while two did give some insight into the murders, they did make a ton of plot holes thus being the world's confusing bedtime story of all time. Not to mention nearly every form of fnaf just doesn't seem as good as the first. Granted there are new mechanics, but its still the same "protect yourself from haunt robo-animals" it just gets old

This is beginning to happen to Baldi, with a new game in the series, it will for sure become the second fnaf. Indie horror is becoming more milked than Assassin's Creed or CoD, at this point theres always one new Indie horror game that all the edgy 12 year olds. It gets old real fast.

Basically, milking an indie horror game isn't good, unless you want to defeat the purpose that made the game good in the first play then go inquire to Ubisoft or Bethesda.

Oh hell, that's one of the worst parts. I mean, all fandoms grow and have a toxic side, but it really does suck when a fandom has a majority that is toxic. There are some people that genuinely do like the game that have to deal with the fanbase and being known as "toxic". I wouldn't call myself a part of any game fandom, but i'm a part of several Kpop and anime fandoms, so I and other fans know how it's like. Honestly, it isn't just games, it's books, anime, music artists, youtubers, streamers, celebrities, idols, and etc.

It's common sense.

You have this magnificent amazing grand arching story, cant fit that shit in one game, cant fund it all. Split it into multiple games, release the first one. if that fails ur game succs dont bother making more.


If it does one fans like it, so finish what you started.

that was when even scott said the story was done
but no
we had to also get sister location, world, pizzeria simulator and ultimate custom night
fnaf 1 was really good
fnaf 2 was also really good
fnaf 3 was a bit worse
fnaf 4 is when the saga started asking for death
world was quite a weird spin-off for an horror series
sister location was simply unnecessary, we didnt need more since the 4th game
pizzeria... idk i havent seen anything about it
ultimate custom night... same as pizzeria, but i hope it is just the custom night but to the extent of the entire saga, gameplay only and fuck the storyline here we only come for gameplay not for more lore so just gameplay

the saga was clearly asking for death at the 4th game
world was ok as an spin-off but sister location was uncalled for

 

everything past 4 was bad except Pizzeria Simulator and UCN, which actually were quite decent and actually answered some questions from the confusing as fuck storyline
