Sorry I haven’t been responding, and when I do it’s low effort. Honestly just really busy - I know it’s a jerk move on my part >.> I’ll get back to it in a bit.

 

I feel like making a whole thread in Nemract's Bar that has a poll asking whether your roleplay is "shit" or not.
Your 'modesty' annoys me.
I garuntee a lot of people would say your roleplay is good.

I mean I think your rp is good. I have fun screwing with everyone lol. And fun is what matters the most.

How good your writing is I find doesn’t matter. In a lot of cases it can actually make it worse- you bore people with winding details. It leads to a lot of abandoned RPs (I was typing like twelve paragraphs per reply in my old rp lmao) and is just generally not fun. I think I pressured a lot of my players to type massive walls in response when I did it. Thus a contest for who could type the most and make the most up occurred lol.

As for legit cringe like edgelords and stuff sometimes they’re better. You just need a flat villain for all of the PCs to kill. As long as there’s player interaction it ends up being fun. That’s how DnD literally always does it lol. I have yet to meet a well written DnD villain, but maybe they exist.

As one who played FAE, D&D, Basic Roleplaying System (Chaosium)- things that are less thought out (improvise) are alot more fun to play with than being fully devotes to playing your character 100% correctly to match the story 100% so that the story matches the GM's idea 100%. Lets just sidetrack and do every side quest first, right? ^-^
