Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The crowds don't seem especially pleased with Fable as she leaves.


Sidus ignores him, diving into the ocean.

 

She doesn’t pay attention to them, more focused on leaving without any more troubles.


Kiin heads to her room, looking for Katie as she goes.

 

Nobody troubles Fable as she leaves apart from a few boos.


Katie doesn't appear to be home yet, the palace empty.

 

She ignores those as well.

Once outside, she looks for the nearest cliff or high point and sits there, looking off into the distance longingly.


Kiin detours to the kitchen to look around a bit more before actually heading into her room.

 

"Okay, yeah, that's obvious."

 

A few air guardians accompany birds in the sky, the sun almost completely set. The ocean is visible in the distance, red sunlight reflecting off of it's surface as its source melts into it.


Kiin's room feels emptier than before, the lack of anyone's presence making it feel a lot lonelier too.

 

Fable watches the air guardians, seeming to calm down a bit.


Kiin hops on her bed and hides under the covers, snout poking out near her pillows.

“Once you get there, look for the werewolf. Should be his shift over there for now.”

 

The air guardians glide about in the air, occasionally flying above the clouds. They don't seem to tire easily, though one of the air guardians catches Fable's eye. Their wings don't seem to be fully connected, and light seems to glisten through them.


Nobody comes to disturb Kiin, nor to the palace.

 

"A werewolf? Alright."

He starts heading towards the castle.

 

"Are... are we gonna be here to do this thing?"

 

Fable watches them intently.


Whoever would, would discover that the snout belongs to a plush dragon and not Kiin.

“Yeah. That a problem for you?”

Once you arrive, there isn’t anywhere to land; crowds are going in and out. There’s a mix of all sorts of creatures, but a lone werewolf stands next to the door.

 

"Naw, this is... fine."

 

They seem to act exactly like a normal air guardian, though they appear to be able to manipulate clouds a lot easier, making them into shapes and sculptures.

 

Fable watches what they make, seeming entranced.

“Did the big dragon shake your spirits?” The fae says in a mocking voice.

 

They make dogs, cats and basic animals, before making a castle out of clouds.

 

Fable continues to watch, amused and ignorant of the earlier incident.

 

An air guardian flies toward somewhere near to Fable, though they don't seem to take notice of her. The air guardian Fable watches eventually leaves the clouds alone, flying above them and out of sight.

 

I fly over to the werewolf and land next to it.

 

Fable turns back to the guardian village for a bit before heading to the lake and sitting down near it, staring at her reflection.

There’s no room to land at first, but they clear some for you.
“Everyone’s in a hurry nowadays...” They grumble.

 

It's hard to see a reflection under the darkness of the oncoming night, though Fable can just about see it.
