Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The giant continues nervously, looking out.

Voidfiller opens a portal below Ted, dropping him into the pocket dimension.
Voidfiller quickly follows, landing beside Ted.

 

Eventually, a supermassive dragon head passes down the hall, then the rest of their body turns down towards the library, soon leaving the giant standing under her belly as she pokes her head into the library.
"Hey, did you figure out what was up with the little dark and green mortals?" She asks, voice reaching down the hall.

Ted stumbles, uneasy.

 

The giant stands in awe, avoiding her feet as he slowly continues on.

"It's okay, you'll get used to it."
He rubs Ted on the head before heading over to his destroyed house in order to repair it.

 

Her tail moves back and forth slightly as her conversation goes on.
“What do you mean they wouldn’t-“
“Oh. And? Maybe he was just busy.”
“I’m sure that’s not true... I can go fix it if it is, though.”
“No, stepping on things is a habit we’re trying to break.”
The tail sweeps to one side, one foot shifting just in front of the giant.
“I’ll think about it, just don’t start anything.” She says, starting to turn around.

By the time the giant gets out from beneath her, she turns and looks at him.
“Whoops, hello little mortal.”


He follows you, tail wagging.

 

"Uh, huh, hello."
The giant seems intimidated.

Voidfiller takes out a folding chair, opens it, and sits down in it near the house.
He then starts creating various woods, which the golems use to rebuild the house.

 

She sits down.
“Go on, you first.” She says, gesturing towards the other end of the hall.

Ted sits next to your hand and nuzzles it, wanting attention.

 

The giant is stunned for a moment before he starts jogging off towards where she's gesturing.

Voidfiller gives Ted the attention he wants, using one hand to scratch him.

 

The larger door ahead is more ornate and barely ajar... except at anyone's size other than the dragon's, it's wide open.

Ted closes his eyes and raises his snout, satisfied.

 

The giant peeks inside to see if it's the entrance.

 

"He thought. So.. is he just ill or something?"

 

After a few knockouts, Fable is called up by the referee, crowds cheering.


"Find our old crew and rebuild our ship. Got to get back on the water, we have a name to keep!" Sidus says happily.

 

Fable approaches the ref, a bit unsure.
"So, how does this work?"


"I have a few willing volunteers, if you're accepting my kin." Kiin says.
The bat-hanging draconian lazily opens an eye.
"...Did you... say something, admiral?"
"Wh-oh, no, go back to sleep."
They promptly oblige.

"I don't know. He used to be here for years, and now he's in and out. The castle guard can show you to his quarters, but he might not be there."

More like outside; a vast expanse of darkness and strange twisting buildings are beyond the courtyard ahead.
"Don't go too far down the path, everyone's been extra hungry lately!" The dragon warns from behind the giant, turning down the hall she came from.

 

"Uh, a'ight..."
The giant nervously looks for the fae.

 

The fae's sitting on a statue, waving the giant over.

 

The giant nervously jogs over.
"Hey."

 

“Was worried you might not be able to take a straight path for a minute.” She laughs, a red-scaled draconian appearing beside the statue.
“Hey, this the client?”
“Yeah. Think a quarter ton’ll do it?”
“No more, he’s not paying.”
“Of course, hardly anyone can for my work.”

 

"Say, what in the hells is this place?"

 

"If you would, that would be appreciated."

 

"First to knock the other one out wins. You get knocked down, you have ten seconds to get back up. Knock down your opponent thrice in one round, you win. There's three rounds and if you're both still standing at the end of them, I'll decide the winner," The referee says, "You'll want boxing gloves. This isn't bare fist fighting."


"That's sweet of you, but I don't want to drag your people away from their own ships." Aquira says.

 

“Do you have a spare pair I can borrow here?” She asks.


Another draconian leans over the edge of the deck.
“Lady, you forget that there’s too many of us here. We ain’t just a warfleet, we looking for a place to call home.”

“No, no, not us. Head over to the central keep, those guards will know. I just keep tabs on anyone coming in or out.”

“This is The Void, ruled by the goddess of destruction which you probably heard stretching her legs. Creatures deemed too dangerous for their ecosystems wind up here, along with shadow creatures and a myriad of other refugees.”
