Why do so many people hate Assassin it’s seriously not a bad class at all.

Also, I think you're missing a big point here. Wynn, even tho it's an MMORPG, is based around PvE. PvP just happens to be fun to test your build against other people, but items/gameplay are usually balanced around PvE.

This comes back to how dps isn't everything to a weapon, but many of the weapons you consider "bad" in your list are amazing in PvE/PvB. For example, Apoc is pretty much considered one of the best weapons for boss solos/guild wars, and it sometimes hated for it. Weathered (and most air weapons) give huge amounts of mobility, albeit air weapons are usually a little lackluster in terms of damage compared to other elements. Water/spell spam is amazing, especially for archers against swarm mobs, or for mobility/flexibility in boss fights.

Wynn isn't really a PvP game. The one PvP aspect, the nether, is almost always empty ever since they removed the gold coin system. Most of the stuff right now is focused on PvE builds/ (insert boss here) solo builds/ guild war builds.

This is a good idea ^, instead of stupidly pulling numbers out of nowhere, they seem mostly made up and you even proved yourself wrong on many of the damage values.

 

Instead of a full glass build(which may cause variables), these were tested on full Morph set(with the weapon powdered properly), which seems pretty fair. I'm just putting the numbers down here(rounding to nearest 100 here). Assassins were tested on Spin Attack, Archers on Arrow Bomb, and Warriors on Uppercut.

Cataclysm(15k average) compared to Thrunda Ripsaw(6.7k average)and Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 thunder(7.3k)

Grimtrap(8.3k average) compared to Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 Earth(7k average)and Nona(6.5k average)(Wall Breaker isn't really a spell weapon, it replaced Grimtrap when people still tier stacked it)

Weathered(8.2k average)compared to Blur(5.4k)and Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 air(6.7k)

It's not; Nirvana(7.4k average)compared to Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 water(6.5k)

Inferno(8.1k average)compared to Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 fire(6.7k average)(your numbers must have been SUPER lowballed here)

Idol(11.8k)compared to Infused Hive w/ 5 t6 water(10.1k)

Alkatraz(13.1k)compared to Hive Spear(10.7k)

Grandmother(14.1k)compared to Alka Cometflinger(9.1k). And what may seem like an easiliy compensated downside requires people to highroll their -health, which isn't done consistently and likely not intended either.

Yes, the maximum damages are similar, but... Spring(10.5k)compared to Torrential Tide(7.9k).

Divzer(16.3k)compared to Hive Bow(10.2k). But Divzer is an extremely weird weapon that brings a different building and playstyle challenge with it,so a 6k difference isn't looking too good.

Freedom(11.1k)compared to Hive Bow(9.8k). But these numbers are likely off by a bit because I don't know how to optimally powder Freedom and rainbow Hive Bow.

Ignis(9.6k)compared to Hive Bow(9.7k). But for an explanation, see Guardian.

These seem more fair now.

Dude, this has been asked multiple times now. Just post the links of the builds you used, cause apparently, you got it all from Wynndata anyways. Some of your numbers still seem off to me.

 

I hope you admit the fact that your first 2 lines were extremly disrespectful. I don't need an apology but I hope you just consider that factor for at least a second. You might feel bad reading my reply and may be frustrated by my thread, but I was just as same.

I deleted the wynndata links so it willtake some time. But again this is just my rant.. its not a super logic general suggestion thread.

 

The thing is, your rant specifically annoys me (and probably a lot of other people) because you're not just complaining about random stuff. You're complaining about things, and then using a very inaccurate and biased way to get data to support your rant.

From just looking at your "evidence" from a glance, it seems like you did just pull it out of nowhere because some of the numbers are blatantly wrong. You probably messed up powderings or a certain armor piece, but the approach you took to comparing weapons is just so unreasonable, it makes zero sense.

Someone earlier suggested this, "Just use morph set for all of this" and I agree, with this there would be no differences in damage boosts.

Using the glassiest of builds for some weapons and semi tank builds for other weapons isn't a fair way to compare weapons.

Ok now for real I may have done it through max damage I did not put this in random build , every one of thrm was put in glass builds. Also you are keep saying blatant wrong all the way, but how is that supposed to annoy you? Do I not have a right to be wrong? So then is all your speech perfectly right and thus do not annoy anyone? Im just a stranger who complained about a certain topic here. I admit i did not plan out the perfect one and i MAY be blatantly wrong as you mentioned, but that by no means give you a reason of annoyance and your superior manner over me that almost seem as though you are enjoying upon at this moment. Yes I am writing this out of a sense of anger and sensitiveness, but I do have right to be wrong and express what is in my heart. Perchance you have a right to be wrong, but that does not necessarily mean that it gives you the right to be immune to criticism. You merely cannot be punished for being wrong, and since Wynncraft is a nongovernmental body, this may not even apply. Additionally, that response calls for the removal of any conflicting views. Isn't it the point of a forum to provide a medium in which ideas can be discussed and disputed? The term you used - "hate" - implies that the responses are entirely emotionally based, but the reverse seems to be true.

Although you explicitly asked for the lack of response to this statement, there was a large misconception within such. Disregarding that, couldn't the same argument apply to further comments? If you have the right to make "wrong" statements, don't the members of this thread have a right to make "wrong" statements as well? Either way, you lose: if you think that they are allowed, your response was baseless; if you think that they are not allowed, you are demonstrating the "superiority" you hate.
