Rp - Gavel's Darkest Hour- Act Two Begins [7/7]

Think to self, great. If I had not of been knocked out by that group, I would of gotten to Bantisu. So goes me making my grave.

 

"What can we do though? We can't stop the dragon and we'll just get in the way of the guards, we should just evacuate with everyone else!"

Too busy thinking about Togak and the other elves.

I rip the handcuffs to pieces.
I look at the dogun I brought with me.
I whisper to the dward:
"This dogun not accomplice, but has dogun papers. Important papers. Searched them everywhere. I brought here by accident."

 

It's exquisitely crafted- it seems like this is Palace furniture that has been moved out of its normal place.

The Dogun guard drags you towards the staircase, and you see Ozoth approaching from the West, claws out and wings outstretched ready to land. The guard hisses at you,
"Why so hesitant? We have to get you to safety!"

She shakes her head. "If they ask, distract.",
She holds out a hand towards the dragon and closes her eyes.
"If Villagers had any clue,
What dragons to their kind would do,
For pact of treasure, go my search,
Their armies would towards me lurch-
What the fuck does that mean?"
You see a villager being dragged towards the staircase by a guard - perhaps that has something to do with it?

The handcuffs split into two, and the Dogun rushes back to you, but is distracted by a deep roar in the distance.
"Shit, the staircase!", he shouts as he runs off.
"Get those papers- CHARGE!", Remfir shouts, and about twenty dwarves emerge from the rocks with her at the front, chasing the Dogun.

"Look, I'm not going to be playing guessing games with you. I'm going to the scroll shop, and you're not going to stop me."
He storms off towards the centre of town. Esmé quietly follows behind him and gestures for you to do the same.

 

"DRAGON!"
I look for the dragon, take cover, and try to remove the pieces of the cuffs from my hands.
I also observe the situation.

Okay I follow him hoping he goes in a back ally

 

I run over to the villager
"hey, you something to do with this?" i shout over the noise

 

You observe that the dragon is the way you're going but a bit to the left, travelling to the right as you manage to pull the remains of the handcuffs off of one wrist at a time. One of the Dwarves tackles the Dogun and the others surround him.
"You killed over eighty dwarves", Remfir shouts at him, her sword held against his throat.
He pleads with her. "Please, I'm a private detective, I wasn't involved!"

He leaves the guards behind and jogs down the main road - you can't keep up and be stealthy and you start to fall behind, but Esmé seems to have no problem. You see the scroll shop ahead, also on the main road, but there does seem to be an alley between it and the neighbouring bank.

A Dogun rushes up to you, carrying a fire wand. "Hey, you something to do with this?", he shouts.

 

Yep, failed deal. I suggest you stay back as Ozoth only wants me.

 

Does he enter the alley?

 

OOC: I got the right guy, right?
I try to find a good hiding place where I can see what’s going on.

 

"So she only wants you? So if we get you out of here she'll stop attacking the doguns?"

 

Nope, shes trying to get me, mostly me. She will keep trying to chase me unless you find a way to convince her not to kill me.

"um ok well what does she want from you anyway?"

 

Treasure. Pissed her off, wants also something more than treasure.

 

"What? What does she want?"

 

Probably something rare like the eye of garrah I think?

 

"Ok well why does she wanna kill you though? What exactly did you do?"
