Errr you're not quite getting the intent.

 

The lore suggests "power", not a billion of IDs. So I'd say it would be more reasonable to just buff the damage values instead of combining it with Stellar and Knucklebones...

Or maybe give it attack speed ID. Some people would use any attack speed items no matter how glassy it makes their build.

 

That's exactly what it is.

 

If it's just power, then why does your version also give walk speed, xp and loot bonus, skill points bonus, mana steal... They really have nothing to do with raw "power".

Makes an interesting dichotomy within the item's already crazy ID's. Will the user melee for mana at the cost of health, or will they try to spell spam with an arguably worse spell spam brace, effectively keeping the balance of the item's raw damage buff in check.

I agree, but you're in agreeance already? It doesn't work as intended because IMO the 'intent' wasn't ever useable. I simply made the item's stats suit the name AND the lore, rather than just the prior /shrug

 

It's technically not a cosmic reward, just has the requirement for no other reason than that Salted wanted it to have that requirement. Unlike Prism, its name or lore isn't connected at all to the quest it requires, or the other quest rewards. Also Knucklebones already has the same xp and loot bonuses.

Yes, but now players won't be able to get the reqs for the items without a rainbow build, essentially keeping it out of loot runners hands and unusable in LB builds. It's just to keep in line with the quest, regardless of whether or not it was intended to align with it previously.

can we have an accessory which just gives +500% Stealing and +500% Soul Point regen? I don't like dying but I like having massive piles of emeralds on the floor.

 

No, I think there are some soul point and stealing builds in the class builds section if you're serious about getting SPs and stealing though lol.

I doubt it needs more damage seeing as how it can restore half of you entire mana with just one tap

 

you also lose hp whenever you steal mana

 

Lament also increases your heal strength immensely because of that water damage, so that balances out the life steal pretty easily.

You need to play the long game here, tigersrule12. Apply for the Item Team, get accepted, and slowly convince all the other members that Lament needs a buff.

 

what a valid argument

lament seems completely fine as is in my opinion
since it already has its own source of mana, you can focus completely on damage instead of needing to add mana as usual

 

the -ls is literally nothing lmao
