So, not much time has passed...

You quickly discovered that there were no doctors in Manifis, but a health potion courtesy of the Manifis Brewer's Commons, Bantira's condition was made much less urgent. A guard was offered to escort you down the Staircase and to Grinefez, Bantira holding on by an arm round your neck and worrying she didn't do enough. As you left, the rally ended, and Torl and her party followed behind you to the Staircase, along with some supporters who had travelled to be at the rally. You rejoin as you're stopped by guards outside the gate.
"Names, occupations and reasons for the trip?"
Your escort answers, "I'm Trelti, Guard, escorting Derntok and, uh," -she looks at you quizzically.

You wake up on the ashy floor of the Heights, almost exactly where you were before. A large crowd seems to be approaching the Staircase, and there's a note beside you.

 

"Its Chunchunmaru."

Wave him off and look around for exits casually.

(oops - typo, was meant to say 'loser' - does that change things? Also, I'm kind of disappointed you caught on that it would be a bad idea to mention him by name in front of the guards.)

There are two doors out of the hall from the floor level, both guarded and the front one you know to be locked. There are doors at each of the boxes where you were last night, but there's no clear way up from inside. Alternatively, you could try to get away from the hobbit but stay in the hall. Abbot Tranki is standing alone, leaning against a wall and staring into a drink and there appears to be closet at the back which was certainly not there last night.

"Derntok and Chunchunmaru - occupations and reasons for trip?"
Bantira feebly answers, "Shop assistant."
Trelti laughs. "National heroes, more like. Going home."
The guard takes a couple of notes.
"Is that so? Are you the ones in that prison break in Rodoroc? I have to say you're not as, as, how do I put this - uh, as I imagined..."

As you leave you hear a voice you can't see the source of, but it sounds like a female dwarf.
"Good work. Unit, attack on command, leave the Gert. Uh, where's the other one?"

It's not that hard to figure out that Dermits name should be throw around in front of guards.

I stand up and say, sorry for my disturbance, must of because lack of sleep and head to the dogun gate.

 

I look towards the source of the sound.

You're in quite a craggy area, there are rocks everywhere. The dwarf seems to be hiding behind one of them. She continues.
"We attack the accomplice on your signal. Well done, Gert."

It seems to be high-quality Olux wood, in line with the rest of the castle furnishings, and it's a single compartment with double doors. There are scratch marks on its feet, as if it had been dragged across a hard floor, and it has a lock that is not engaged. You notice that Elimut seems to have seen you - he looks suspicious.

"I don't fucking care if Elimut's gotten himself into trouble. I might even be glad. But I've been in Ahms since the Cataclysms began, and I don'r care about his stupid politics."

As you get up you hear a deep, unearthly roar coming from the West, and a commanding Dogun voice calls out: "Dragon incoming! Evacuate! Everyone, down the stairs. Guards, search the area, get people out of here. Oh Garahah! Get Torl to safety! How did she get so close without us noticing!?"
Guards run off in all directions, and one of them quickly reaches you. "Quick, down the staircase!", she says as she grabs your arm.

Before he can respond, you hear the terrifyingly close roar of a dragon. It's approaching from the West, a large young female, a deep crimson in colour - matching the description of Ozoth.
A guard behind you calls out, "Dragon incoming! Evacuate! Everyone, down the stairs. Guards, search the area, get people out of here. Oh Garahah! Get Torl to safety! How did she get so close without us noticing!?", and both your escort and the guard questioning you run off in separate directions.
"Shit!", Bantira shouts. "We have to save the people from the rally!"
