With respect, the role list doesn’t leave much to the imagination. 5 random towns

 

Statistically, even if it were true that Wynn the Anime is not suspicious, the chances that Edgar got an evil role that could find this out are higher than him getting sheriff - and if he didn't know it's still beneficial to lie, he gets at least another night to do damage. Probability says he's evil.

 

Sorry, the point I was trying to make was this, sheriff is a pretty common evil role but we don't know if he is telling lies or not. That is why I asked if anyone could cc any part of his will to have a sort of definite way to prove him out. I also had a feeling that chance-wise that being a sheriff was low.
