Sell Mythics Now Or Wait For Dern?

in the thread about Level Cap and Mythics,
a lot of people were saying that mythic prices would go down if the level cap will increase (a lot of people said that the level cap will likely increase) and higher lvl mythics are added.

So, is it worth it to sell mythics now (incase prices go down) or wait for the Dern update (and see if I wasted my money or not)?

 

in my thread: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/level-cap-and-mythics.231191/#post-2833912 a lot of people agreed that the level cap would increase, meaning there would be a higher chance that more higher level mythics would be added. It makes sense to sell mythics now incase mythic prices severely drop after the Dern update.

 

Just sell whenever you want to; don’t bother waiting for the update. It’s by no way confirmed that the level cap will increase or that there will be new mythics. That thread is purely speculation by the players. Only take into account information explicitly told by the Admins.

Mythic prices will theoretically continue to decrease in price as more are found and demand stays constant, but it’s not always the case.

 

It hasn't been confirmed that next update is dern, it also hasn't been confirmed that the level cap is going to be higher. Though I do think the level cap would be made higher if dern comes out. I would just sell them now.

 

The only thing we know about next update is that Grian called it Road to Dern in a 2017 post. I highly doubt Dern in its entirety is coming next update. Sell your mythics now, because you know what amount of money you'll get from them. If you wait until Dern (which is coming who knows when), mythics will be a different price than they are now. Just play it safe.

 

myyhic prices wil drop but not that much a lot of people with mythics whould be mad cuz they bought somthing and now the prices is going down so cya money xD

 

If the price is really dropping then sell the mythics you don’t need. Or just make sure you’re not going to regret it.

if the speculation by players is true, then do indeed sell the mythics. Mythic prices will drop if there are new /more mythics and new places to get said mythics.

 

There is no need to make preemptive assumptions and trades base on speculations. Know that the CT and the Item Team got everything covered.

 

You shouldn't really worry about that kind of thing.
Maybe the update will come in 2 years.
Maybe the update will hype so many people that the prices will go up because of the demand.
Maybe right now, the prices are going down because of that kind of speculation, making it bad to sell now.

All of this is assumption, because you CANNOT be sure about what will happen. What I would say is :
Do what you've always done, or do what you want to do.
Sell a mythic if you don't need it anymore, or feel like you need money more than you need a mythic.
Don't sell if you feel like selling it would make you regret it.

Don't play for money, play for fun. If you end up being rich, but you are also bored, what's the point?
