hey, thanks for tuning in to my first entry into the Wynncraft Noteblock Unofficial Sound Track (UST)

originally made this in a separate program then converted it into a midi. what i didn't expect was Note Block Studio's drawbacks when it comes to music.(lol like really, two octaves) so sorry if it sounds pretty cluttered, i only really have one instrument to work with here :'(

making noteblock music is fun so i'll be doing more in the future! if any of ya want to suggest an area or character than is in need of a music theme, suggest them in the comments(or in this case just post on the thread xd) and ill see what i can do.

 

I like it but you should try to stay within the limits of mc and while it sounds good, it doesn’t sound like a boss theme.

That's some really neat stuff! I like it :D
I wouldn't consider it a "boss theme" (except maybe at the end part) but it's really good nonetheless. It's more of a dungeon theme for me!

Do you plan on making music for wynn? :thinking:

i mean maybe if they need one? im pretty sure they dont and i dont really know how composer applications work :v

 

It's the elephant in the room, but goddamn repetition. I can only hear the AAAAA'A'A'A'A''A''A''A''A'''A'''A'''A'''BBBBB'B'B'B'B''B''B''B''B'''B'''B'''B''' format so many times (yes it's exaggeration but you get it). Also can't anyone please try not doing the exact same buildup every time. It's always repeating motif (sometimes with bass already) -> drums and chords or whatever -> countermelody. And like everyone said, it isn't a boss theme.

 

haha yes i soon found out repetition isnt a very good idea for a piece thats going to be looped anyways
