They don’t, but they are able to keep the two draconians occupied.

 

"I guess so." Katie shrugs.

 

Fable sighs.
“Again, never been good with metaphors.”
Pause.
“...You done here? Not to be pushy, I just hate standing around doing nothing.”

 

The giant slowly creates thickened rock around the guards from the ground-up, hopefully encasing their bodies in stone.

 

Doing so causes the floor nearby to start glowing red - manipulating stone might not be the safest idea.

 

The giant stops, just making sure that nobody escapes.

 

"Okay."

He starts to imagine seeing Sgavrinn infront of him. Slowly zooming in on his face to eventually, hopefully, share vision.

 

"Yeah, we can look around for some Earth Guardians now." Katie says cheerily.

 

Fable smiles.
“Well... you lead.”

This works, somewhat surprisingly.

Sgavrinn seems to be curled up in a ball, vines wrapped around his torso as he keeps as still as possible. He’s on some sort of walkway in a dark palace, a bunch of tubes holding frozen creatures within.

They’re keeping each other busy, each side seeming to hope attrition bests the others first.

 

The giant looks over one of the guards, looking for a place he can hit the guard without hitting his ally.

 

Katie heads away from the cliffs, looking at the mountains in the distance.

 

"Is he trapped?"
He thinks.

"I can see where he is, but I don't know where it is."

 

“Quite a hike.” Fable comments, following Katie.

After a while, what looks to be a draconian mage peeks under the vines, Sgavrinn wincing as they gently put the vine back and pet him.

There... really isn’t one, the draconians are between you and the guards.

 

What about a strike from above?

 

"Yeah, Earth Guardians usually live in mountain ranges." Katie says happily.

 

"It's Ragnyon."

 

If the giant can work around stalactites and helmets, that's the closest thing to an opening there is.

Sgavrinn turns slightly as they leave, curling up slightly again and resting his head on the metal floor.

You've got photographic memory and never told me?

"You sure I can't just use a small tremor to bring them here?"

 

The giant creates a club out of stone and starts wacking one of the guards in the head with it.

 

You wind up clipping one of the draconian's weapons, a two-ended spear, which causes them to take a hammer blow to the gut before you knock the guard out.

 

The giant continues beating the unconscious guard until the guard is definitely dead.
