I have one question, how did Wynncraft’s economy become so broken? Wasn’t it healthy before the Gavel update?

New money gets gathered too fast, and old money doesn't get destroyed fast enough. Simple as that

Won’t it get worsened if the level cap is increased and new mythics get added?

Mythics have had a big effect on Wynn's inflation, and finding one can lead to you gaining the equivalent of multiple LE stacks instantly. Not to mention that there have been no additional money sinks and there have been multiple duping incidents that also messed some stuff up.

Technically mythics didn’t kill the economy. Because nobody ever item buyers them, they never actually create more currency, so inflation didn’t really increase. They were just really rare, and therefore valuable, and so they cost a lot. If there was less emeralds in circulation, mythics would be worth something proportionate to the amount of emeralds. It’s just that people started lootrunning a lot and also did a lot of quests, leading to more emeralds being added to the economy.
